Adult: Species description based on Savage et al (2004). Dorsal: Dorsal coloration deep brown with darker brown and yellow markings. The brown blotches on the dorsal surface often have green or red in them, so that they resemble lichen. The dorsal surface is granular. Ventral: Ventral coloration is bright yellow with some brown spots on the undersides of the arms and legs. The ventral surface is covered in very small bumps. Concealed surfaces: The thighs are bright orange or yellow, barred with black. This patterning is on the upper thigh but extends onto the front and rear surfaces of the thighs and is on the calf as well. The groin is orange or yellowish with brown blotches. Distinguishing characteristics: Upper lips have alternating brown and yellow barring. Eye: The iris is silvery tan or gold, darkening to brown or black on the lower half. Extremities: Feet have very little webbing.
