It has a smooth carapace and well developped rostrum (foremost extension of the carapace), ending in a sharp point. Presence of a subdistal ventral tooth slightly posterior of level of subdistal dorsal tooth, sometimes indistinct, and with an absence of a seldom. Presence of an antennal spine well developped. The abdomen is smooth and is composed of 6 segments. The major chela is fairly large. The color pattern consists of a semi-transparent background with white stripes over the body and the appendages. The eyestalks also show white stripes. The female has also a semi-transparent background but the stripes are somewhat pale pink. |
