Characteristics: Branches are flexible and slimy. Unlike other Eunicea species which have prominent extended calyces, E. knighti has pores with raised edges. Bulb or knob at some or all of the branch tips, and sometimes on the branches or branch axils. Colonies are reddish brown and the tentacles are darker than polyp body.
