Depth: 1 - 15m Characteristics: Terminal phase: Body varying shades of blue to green. Underside tends to be paler. Black mark at the base of the pectoral fin. Tail centre is yellow with a translucent margin. Initial phase: body is mottled brown and can pale rapidly to camoflage on the sea floor; tail base is bright yellow; anal and ventral fins red. Adult length 8 - 14in., max. 1.5ft
