I was not even aware of how many different types of Coatis existed! I went with the recomendation but im not sure, it could be the white nosed coati? They look very similar. I am pretty sure that this is not their fully natural habitat (i have seen a family or two in a fully natural environment). The jungle is all around but they are in this location because there are government facilities here that leave their huge trash can completely open and they are completely destroyed so of course the coatis like to scavenge in this area. They do aslo scavenge in the jungle itself but the trash is a big plus for them. Easy food. Its a group of about 50 (or more) and im not sure in nature that they usually hang out with such a huge group together.
