Habitat: This shrimp species lives in habitats such as reef flats, grass flats and mangroves. It can live in almost any habitats with shallow water where it can find cavities to live in. Distribution: This species has been reported from the Southern Caribbean. Natural History Notes: It usually feeds on small crustaceans and gastropods. It is a diurnal species. Depth: 0-3 m. Characteristics: This shrimp can reach a total length of up to 60 mm. It is a very color polymorphic species, with a semi-transparent background with brown, bright green or cream mottle. This species can be differentiated by the presence of submedian teeth prominent, intermediate teeth reduced and by the presence of white meral spots on the body.
