STRI Amphibians of Panama
Adult: Species description based on Savage (1972). A medium-sized toad (males to 36 mm, females to 48 mm). Males can be distinguished from females by their robust upper arms.
Dorsal: Dorsal surface is solid brown, or with tiny yellow spots; the spots sometimes have a brown mark in them.
Ventral: Ventral surface yellow with or without some darker patterning.
Eye: Iris green. Pupil vertical.

Habitat: Montane forest from 1200 - 1445 m elevation.
Type locality: "Pirri Range, Darién"
